Papaw Kevin and Granny Jenn graciously volunteered to keep Emma, so we decided to go out on an adult adventure. Emily had this great idea to go up to the Sugarlands to see the synchronizing fireflies. This is the only place in the world that they exist, and they only come once a year for about two weeks. We got to Gatlingburg around 6:30 and at dinner, then we headed on up the Sugarlands around dusk. Once we got there, the entire parking lot was full and the traffic director said it had been full for about an hour, so unfortunately we did not get to see the firefly's but we did have fun. We decided to go back in to Gatlingburg and be tourist. We did old time pictures and ate Carmel apples and funnel cakes. Needless to say it is always and adventure with this bunch!
